Pixels On Paper’s 2020 Outdoor Christmas Mini Sessions
Pixels On Paper will be photographing outdoor Christmas Mini Portrait sessions this year. Who’s in?
It’s the MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR, even if 2020 has been, well……. and we’re all a bit disoriented. Find some normalcy by getting in the spirit for Christmas with a portrait session.
WHEN: Saturday, December 12th.
WHERE: We’ve created a Christmas themed backdrop in our outdoor portrait garden.
HOW: We will of course be following all CDC and local protocols with regard to safe distancing during the entirety of the session. We will wear masks, and shoot all images outside. If you have special requests in terms of safety, please let us know.
WHAT: Contact Pixels On Paper to reserve your session and see pricing at the end of the blog.
We have a large backdrop, fully loaded with seasonal decor, plenty of props that will be wiped down between sessions, and even a small (and cute, if I may say so) station for images of your little elves.
Our son Finley got a kick out of it and he lives here, so our hope is that you will make a plan to schedule your session with us as soon as possible. It’s one day only, December 12th!

Penelope & Flynn’s Christmas Portraits
This Christmas season, we’ve seen a steady stream of revelers in colorful clothing darken our doors and insist on having their portraits taken. We sigh, roll our eyes and then do that thing where we wave ’em in and accommodate their requests. It’s fine. Whatever….
Honestly, the 2019 studio Christmas portrait season has been the blast that it always is, and today we’re showcasing two little elves who escaped their spots on shelves and slid in with the wind before we shut our doors.
Meet little Penelope and Flynn. They are not related, except by the bonds of cuteness.
Both Flynn and Penelope changed the wattage in our studio and brought a surplus of high (read: HIGH!) energy to the mix. But they were both a little camera shy for Ryan. This is another big advantage of having two photographers available at Pixels: when the energy calls for a change, we can make it. When a child or children respond better to one gender over another – no problem. Neither Ryan nor I takes it personally. We’re pros and we’re parents. We get it. I took over and with a little persuading, dancing, and singing, we found our groove.

Christmas Portrait Sessions 2019
Whether at home or in our studio, we’re still booking portrait sessions for the holiday season. If you want to come to our already decorated and glorious portrait studio, please be in touch!
We change it up every year, but the organization and ease on you is the same! You’ll be cozy and won’t have to do a thing at your own home.
If you want to have your portraits for the holidays taken at your home, we can make that happen too and it’s NOT as huge a deal as you might imagine. Just call and ask us about dates and times that are still available. The setting can be tidy and a bit more formal….
…. or you can relax at home and just be together in your space, doing your thing. The only exception is that you don’t have to be behind the camera. You can read books, decorate or have an all out free for all. We don’t judge. We just capture!
As time runs out for all of us this season, be in touch before it’s too late and we’ll do our best to accommodate your tribe! Can’t wait to hear from you.

Booking Christmas Portraits | Studio and In Your Home
If you haven’t already booked and are considering it, I’m hoping you’ll schedule your family’s holiday portrait session with us. This year, we are offering two options from which to choose. The first are the in-home documentary sessions just as we did last year. We shot several of these and we, and they, LOVED the experience. We’re excited to do it again this year. In-home sessions can be scheduled from the time that a family’s home is decorated (or being decorated) until December 10th.
Last year we spent time with the Minick family, the Hollands, the Pierce’s and others and it was better than we expected. If you’re decorating and think you want to go for it, I encourage you to!!
The other option is to come to the Pixels studio which we’re decorating for the holidays.
Studio sessions will be Friday-Sunday November 17th – December 10th.
We’re not changing our pricing for 2017! Here are the details:
For only $125, we will provide 5 digital images for families with up to 3 children. This includes the printing rights along with the option to purchase prints, cards, and gifts. Pets and additional children or family members are welcome for an additional $25.
Our fee is due when you make your reservation.
